Can anyone recommend an AEG to get me started. currently have a G18 (which i love) as me sidearm and a MAC 11(that I hate) but need to buy an AEG. price is kind of a factor. but want something too.

As far as starter AEGs go, anyting around the 170 or so mark is roughly the same if you get it from an irish retailer -- most of them don't bother to import muck since it comes back to them. It's basically up to whichever you like the look of.

i know this sounds stupid but I like the look of the P90 kitted out. was looking at i in MIA in blanchardstown last week and recognized it from Stargate SG-1

the only skirmish able p90 for some time was from tokyo marui its a lovely piece of kit but might be over your budget, classic army are releasing there sportline p90 which if in line with there previous sportline products might be what your looking for, so far i've not seen any for sale online don;t know is mia has them in stock yet if they do there the first ones i've come across, i've not seen any reviews so quality and performance is unknown at the moment on the classic army model

cheers for that puding. think the guy in MIA said it was only 275.

ueah? my main beef with MIA is: any time i go out to get a clip or accessory for either of my current pieces after ringing to see if they have it in stock and told they do they do beig told yeah we'll keep one I go out to find that they've none in stock or they're sold out. so have you had any problems getting stuff like mags etc for yours?

never shopped with mia myself, but thought other retailers i've never had a problems getting parts personally, i got my p90 from airsoftglobal in hk, all my mags and accessorys where purchased domestically

where do you shop domestically. I drive so a couple of other places in dublin or very near would probably be cool.

i don;t live in dublin myself, im from cork way, but if your looking for a Dublin based retailer there are a number you can try, airsofteire eirsoft are some examples, all depends if your looking for a walk in store or if your happy with an online retailor

P90 mags arent super common but you're only gonna need 3 hicaps max. If you ask a retailer to get them in for you they will probably agree to do it. They should then let you know when they're in stock and hold them for you. I know that Eirsoft and Airsoft Eire do this, others may too.

thanks lethal. I might take a spin out to them over the weekend see what they got. How have you found them for variety or reliability on stuff you bought.

TBH I have no qualms(sp?) with any Irish Retailer. I would have used Eirsoft more purely due to the fact that he was the first to open. All the retailers I've met are friendly and will all take back anything thats faulty. Its really just who is closest to you.

Oh, and I forgot one(he's new), Airsoftworld in Kimmage. He's got loads of stock in now.

    Hope this helps.
