Ripped knee in jeans - how say you ?

I have a pair of great Gap jeans which unfortunately due to my over wearing them because the feel so great (soft denim), the right knee has ripped with the left knee starting to fray now too.

They're a light, kinda dirty colour, feel & fit great, but this ripped knee is bothering me...

Are we on the edge of a ripped denim renaissance or is it time to dump them. How say you ?

Just pretend you're in 1994 and you'll be fine.

I think jeans with ripped knees look great tbh. Kind of retro-cool. River Island and a-wear have them in stock at the moment so they're obv making a bit of a comeback.

You clearly love these jeans so don't let a rip stop you from wearing them.

Just tell people you bought them that way. Then they'll think you're cool, and slightly bohemian.

Whoa there. Are you sure about that? I used to wear them when I was obcessed with Guns 'n' Roses (circa Use Your Illusion). I'd already decided they looked kak by the time grunge rolled around. They really do look shocking unless your painting the house or some such. They keep making mini come backs but it never seems to catch on except the people who fall for every fad. Jabcity, with that post and that name, you're the exception (provided you're female). Keep up the good work;):D

Just when the rips gets so large that you're leg comes out it when putting them on it may be time to let them go...
