Hey The wierdest think has happend to me with the last three films i've seen that hasn't happened before

the films being Pathology(with Milo Ventimiglia of Hero's Fame), The Nines(with Ryan Renolds) and A scanner Darkly (with Keanu Reeves). When the film ended i could not decide weather i liked it or not! has this ever happen to anyone?

As it happened after really thinking about it i decided I liked the Nines, Didn't like Pathology and the Jury is still out for Scanner Darkly.

I see that as a good thing for the films. It means they made you think about them after you'd watched them. Granted, it didn;t turn out too well for Pathology, but that's what happens when you make a shìt film. :D

    This man speaks the truth!
Its often the kind of feeling you get when either a) you're not in the right mood for something or b) you want to like something because its doing something different, but you keep noticing that they didn't quite get it right (like the Nines - good concept, but very silly execution. Or A Scanner Darkly, where they're loyal to the book but in book form it perhaps should have stayed).

Maybe you're simply going through an indecisive phase.

This happened to me with Lost Highway. In the end I decided I like it, but still don't quite get it...

Yeah all the time. I'm completely indifferent to around 60-70% of all movies I see. There really is a lot of very average shít out there that really serves no purpose to anyone beyond being a mild distraction.

I remember getting that feeling when I watched The Boondock Saints, there was so much wrong with it but i didnt dislike it... I was confused was it good dispite bits that made me want to punch Troy Duffy (Writter/Director).

I actually really liked that film, Again i have no idea exactly why but i put it mainly down to the dialoge between the two main stars. but yes troy duffy is an ass

I was kind of like that after Caché, though it was more a WTF?

Having watched it again, it really is a good film.

tbh I think I liked it also but the fact that (and this isnt the only thing wrong with it) that so many characters are just massive sterotypes from the Russian mob bosses to the Irish Bar owner... it just really pissed me off at times and left me confused at the end as to whether or not I thought it was good.

Likeable yes, Idea behind it is good yes, but is it a good movie... I just dont know:confused:
