Is there a method of saving my eircom webmail to my pc - I have tried savemywebmail.com but it appears not to work with eircom webmail now.

I would just like an offline copy of my webmail incase my mail gets deleted - my eircom inbox has been deleted twice this month and they then restored it after I mailed support.

You could also signup for a www.gmail.com account and use it to check your Eircom account using the details above that barnicles posted. That way you'll have a few gig of storage for your emails :)

I got a solution to the problem of logging in to eircoms new webmail
I had the problem described of not being able to check eircom.net emails in outlook or outlook express or on my mobile phone. this only applied to the email accounts that had been migrated to the new service.

Eircom said in thE tech pages same user name, same password, same server mail1.eircom.net. Couldnt get in, address not authenticated, error code - cant remember but ended 000cf
Got the answer this morning on my mobile phone - you know, when you stop on a page and it helpfully tells you what it is all about!

So, user name whovever@eircom.net, your passwOrd, and under incoming (POP)server webmail.eircom.net. Ougoing server stays mail1.eircom.net. Just sent and received in Outlook Express using these settings and it all seems to work fine.

Will look more kindly in future at the mutterings on the mobile phone!
