    Hey,

Is the foam roller the only way to go for an ITB problem? Willing to go through the pain of massage but I wonder does the roller do the job just as well.

Anyone know how long it takes to stretch out a really tight ITB this way.

What did your "health care professional" say?

I got dry needling (like acupuncture) done on my ITB. Its deep tissue needling. very very sore but results are fantastic. look in to a physio that does this perhaps?

    Hey,

A Physio is treating my back.....we've not moved onto the ITB yet....
I first had an ITB problem with left leg...then immediately, once i got the left sorted out, the right got really bad, within only about 10 miles of running!

I was going Physical Therapist for massage directly onto my ITB but physio says leave that off for a while.

    I'd think about acupunture too....

    Cheers!

possible the other one to flare up due to imbalance in the amount of work either side is doing. there are some good basic exercises ur physio can giv u too.
