Well im in an area where theres no eircom broadband available so its only the wireless type.

My bro brought out his vodafone one and while its not super fast it was alot faster than crappy dial up. So im thinking about going for it now.

Just wondering is there any alternatives or would vodafone be the most likely seeing as im just about inside its coverage for relatively fast speeds?

30 euro a months is fairly steep....Do 02 do any? what would their price/coverage be like compared to vodafone?

    3,o2 and vodafone do them.

The wireless providers in your area might be worth a look too.

O2 do mobile broadband for 19.99 per month with a 10GB limit if you sign up before the end of August. You need to sign a 1 year contract.

    Details here:

Wireless also an option, if you post your location people may be able to advise availability in your area.

    Hey there,

I don't know about the other providers, but 3 are rubbish.

Not only do they promise you speeds of up to 3.6mps, and they do not deliver on this.
When you phone them you are speaking to someone in INDIA and the language barrier is very annoying. The people are obviously there to do a job and they try to be nice, they are exceptionally mannerly, but a lot of the time they do not understand an English speaking voice and if you are already irritated by your service it is all too easy to scream down the phone at them!!

You can get a vodafone modem from the car phone warehouse and try the service if it is not working out for you after 14 days you can return it and cancel the service.

    Bell.
