Ok, im not going to buy one, i hate the things and i hate black suits in general so im not going to buy one of those either :)

i need a tux for a black tie wedding in early sept so id better get it sorted out.

I dont want a polyester job thats rough around the edges, i would like a quality rental, is there such a thing and if so who in Dublin CC does it?

    Cheers

The clue is in your own post ;). Try Black Tie. You asked for Dublin city centre locations, they've branches on Westmoreland Street and Lower Baggot Street, and seeing as your location is down as Blackrock, they also have one on Main Street, Blackrock.

I know plenty of people who've used them and I've been told they're helpful and knowledgeable and have quite a large, good quality selection. If you're not sure what to pick, tell them that it's for a wedding I'm sure they'll be able to point you towards what would be most suitable as they deal with this stuff day in, day out.

Best of luck, enjoy the wedding.

Edit: http://www.blacktie.ie/ - you can even book it online by the looks of it (assuming you know your size and what you want) and arrange to pick it up when it is convenient for you.

I used Tango's and they were low quality.

Black Tie WOULD be able to sort you out, but you'll be paying a lot more than their standard prices.
They have a range of suits.

    Worth a look anyway.
