A&E psychic kids o_O

It is rare that a program that could p!ss me off so much but this show does it with ease. It started off with humour that people are taking the kids seriously, to concern for the kids, to "wtf is wrong with these people?". This is being labelled as a serious documentry.

The main presenter (Chip) appears to be leading the kids on. Preloading their responses for them. At one point even goes as far as to say "I don't want to scare anyone, but does anyone feel like there is something here that wishes them harm" (sic). I mean seriously wtf.

Also another kid draws what looks like crappy house picture which is close to pretty much most country/western type US houses in the area she lives in. Then when she gets to the place where she claims is her picture it looks nothing like it at all.

Another is asked by Chip what his mother is like. She guesses "small, blue eyes and blond hair". Three guesses what chip looks like.

They have another kid who is asked to pick what areas are wrong with a woman. She picks a leg and the main body. Which turns out the woman has bronchitis and a gammy knee (on the other leg). Yet they keep going on as if she did it.

The same girl is asked to draw an aura, who then the female presenter (after being told) explains she felt the same thing about the guy. The guy is then asked "we sensed ..., can you tell us what that means".

But there are three serious wtf moments just had me wondering why is this on the air?

1. Some kid claims to have found the location of two dead people in a truck in a lake. The cops dredged the lake and found a truck with two dead people in it. Now I don't know about you but I wouldn't be thinking this guy could see dead people, but rather if he had anything to do with their demise.

2. One guy holds up a picture of a missing woman and on the show claims that she was beaten and shoved into the trunk of a car. I mean what the hell?! Who would want that sort of crap about their loved one shown on TV?

3. A guy who has a missing son, he explains midway through the show to the kids the last moments of thier kids recorded. One of the kids later on in the show just repeats back what he had said to him and claims it is his gift. But the real fuk'ed up moment is the kids telling the guy that his son is dead and then Chip telling him to help his son pass on??!!

Apparently the medium who presents the show, Chip Coffey, runs a camp for psychic children.
