Cannot use second monitor as primary monitor...

    Im trying to dual screen, but when i try to make the second monitor as the primary one. The option that says "Use this monitor as primary monitor" is greyed out. I get no errors and dragging the start bar/ taskbar over to the other monitor does not work, programs still open in the main one. Windows xp too..

    just swap em :D

    Failing that..a progam called ultramon is a fantastic app for dual screens..there's demo version available and believe me it's well worth the €40 or so.

    What type of graphics card are you using?

    Are you trying to adjust it via the cards own software or windows itself?

    Yeah I had this problem and just downloaded an advanced control panel from ATi and now it works fine. Are you on your latest graphics card driver revision?
