Just wondering what the situation would be if you have one year training completed with a chartered firm and CAP1 exams completed and then wanted to transfer over to a different firm to complete ACCA, would you get any exemptions from ACCA from CAP1 and more importantly would the year spent on the ACA training programme count as part of the 3 year experience required by the ACCA or would you have to complete yet another 3 years to qualify?

Your 1 year experience will count for ACCA, No exemption from the exams for CAP1 but you might have exemption from a degree if you did one.

Stay with ACA if you can, don't come into ACCA exams thinking they are easy .............
