Holiday Ideas

    Hi guys,

I'm useless at planning holidays but the task is up to me this year as my gf is too busy. So, I thought that if I gave you an idea of the type of holiday we were looking for and an estimated price range that you fine people might suggest somewhere. Google is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

We were thinking of a spa holiday (massages saunas and the like) with an outdoor pool, walking trails with a nice mountain range view somewhere in Europe with a bit of heat in mid September. Our budget would be about €2000 for the whole operation. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Slovenia? I love it there!! You can fly to ljubljana from London with Easyjet. So unusual beautiful and cheap to eat and drink there. You could stay at Lake Bled in the Julian Alps for a few nights and then maybe the celica hostel in the city centre...I know hostels sound dodgy but this one is unreal!

Google Slovenia and read a few travel guides. It's like a fairy tale! Also you can get fairly cheap trains to Austria, Italy and Croatia for day trips
