Madness. The lad on the bike is obviously very bad but even the rest of the traffic is brutal. Would not like to drive there!

LOL! It wouldn't have been as funny without the lads commentary, good laugh.

Look at the lane changes - no indicators, just bully your way into a gap (or make a gap if there isn't one)...

Has to be India based on the volume of Tata Indica's.

I'm currently visiting Kiev for a couple of days and I have to say that they handle the Lada's quite well here. They hold the lanes, indicate and generally drive quite well.

I've been in quite a few countries over the past year and I have to say the worst I've seen is in Ireland closely followed by Germany

I'm in Poland at the moment and the driving over here is crazy, we are tame compared to the folks over here imo.

The amount of near misses is unreal, most city roads are 3 lanes each way with lots of traffic lights at junctions, a red traffic light means that a car may or may not stop depending on the mood. Taking off from traffic lights is like a race, who can get to the next set the fastest. Weaving from one lane to another is very common and see if you can beat the tram across a junction.

Amazingly this is the norm here I am told and there is absolutely no road rage involved in any of it.

Traffic management puts Ireland to shame though, over here traffic moves along efficently and I've seen no real rush hour gridlock like you see in our cities at home.

Also quite interesting to see so many old cars over here, cars like the Sierra, Audi 90, Ladas, FSOs, etc still flying around the place.

Most taxis are Mercs and the odd Audi A8 but I was in a Skoda Felica today and I was holding on for dear life, the suspension was knackered and you felt every bump on the road especiall when going over the tram rails.

I 100% agree. How anyone is not killed at this junction is just a sheer complete miracle. Look at the video below it's actually dizzying

Great video but it has been speeded up for greater effect. Look at the pedestrians ;) Still pretty manic though!!
