I bought from them on a couple of occasions and found them fine but it's changed ownership in the last year so not sure if that helps. They're one of the bigger UK golf online retailers.

I bought from them last year aswell, no problem. However, when looking up stuff this year a lot of items are permanantly given as out of stock. I emailed about this and got no response, so maybe if there is new owners the standards have slipped.

    I thought this...

    http://www.pricebustergolf.co.uk/shop/golf-products/golf-package-sets/ram-golf-package-sets/ram-demon-xr-mens-package-golf-540347.html

...seemed like a reasonably good quality/price starter set.
    Postage is £9.99.

    Any opinions?

You didn't get stung by customs or anything then?

I just had a look at their site now and almost everthing I was interested in was "out of stock", strange, great prices though!

    WARNING:
Did a web search on them there and people are saying they are gone into liquidation but still taking orders online.
If they are declared bankrupt you may not get your clubs but may not get your money back either.

That could explain the large amount of out of stock.

    Be careful.

I have noticed all of your comments on our website www.pricebustergolf.co.uk, and noticed a few people with worries. So just thought i would clear a few things up.

Pricebustergolf.co.uk was bought by ourselves in February this year. Due to the site continuing to run, when we purchased the site we put all stock as "Out of Stock", so that nobody could purchase, as the accounts etc had to be tied up. During this time, as everything was with the accountants, we couldnt do anything with emails etc.

The site is now up and running, with no financial problems as a couple of people have stated. We have been running golf sites for a number of years, and pride ourselves on cheap prices, along with good delivery times, and good customer service.

Thanks again for your comments, and i hope that this clears a few things up.

    Thanks

Sept 11 - just looked for gloves on site and everything still appears to be 'out of stock'

I'm in the same position, seems a hell of a lot of things are out of stock; at the same time though, they have some great prices, and 10 GBP shipping on an order is pretty good

Great prices don't have meaning if you can't buy.

Well obviously I mean the items in stock, found a fairway wood in stock at a much better price than anywhere else

{rices are good but I'd still be wary.
Have ye checked out www.onlinegolf.co.uk lads.
Recently bought a driver & a wedge from them, interlink courier service was 5 sterling. Great prices imo (especially sale items) & very quick delivery.

Been on there before, thats a good price for shipping but it still seems slightly more expensive to me. There should be a sticky somewhere of online golf shops, or even trusted eBay shops. I know there is the odd thread here and there but it's probably something that people would appreciate, cos if you're left with somewhere like McGuirks, you're gonna spend a fortune.

Bought a set of irons online for 220 euros, they were 700 in McGuirks.
