    Hi all,

I have another thread up which i must delete.I said i would put up another thread explaining exactly what im looking for.im looking for other musicians to start jamming with and longterm to start a covers type band.i would be very open minded with music and just want to get out there and improve.
i would be open to writing our own stuff also but just want to get out there and get some gigging experience first.i play both acoustic&electric and like lots of different types of music.
examples of some of the bands would be metallica,GnR,Velvet revolver, greenday etc,i also love all the classic rock from thinlizzy, led zepplin, pinkfloyd etc.
i like acoustic type stuff too from the likes of crowded house and oasis, david gray type stuff.

let me what you guys think and if anyone is interested then give me ashout or a pm.im 28yrs old and would be looking for serious musicians that would be around the same age but im open to replies from anyone who is interested.

    cheers,
    Colin;)

    Hi Colin

I am part of a band that is more of a bunch of guys who get together and has a jam every couple of weeks. We have played a couple of gigs in the past but that was for our work Christmas do.

We have a blast and we play covers from CCR, Nirvana, Rihanna, Hendrix and a few more.

I don't know if you are interested but we get together at the Showgrounds rehearsal studios every other Thursday. Most the lads are under 30 and the line up is very European with a (Blonde) Swedish girl on vocals, French Drummer, Danish guitar etc. We have two guitarists already but I am about to start building a house so I will not have time to play much and the lads want regular practice.. I play lead BTW.

Let me know if this floats your boat, we have a couple of youtube links from a gig we played that I can send you.
