Apparently civil engineers havnt discovered the internet! I know a few Civils. The do plenty of hours! Up in the 30s as far as I know. A few projects and reports etc too. But im not entirely sure if thats what 1st years like. Ive only known them in 2nd and 3rd year.
They seem to enjoy it somewhat anyways.

Yeah i know a **** load of them too and they do an awful lot of hours. Some tough subjects in there too. Projects, reports, labs they're always whining about them. All the same they're hoars for the beer.

Hey i just finished civil in NUIG.. Its really tough, we do have a reason for all the whining!! Its not really well organised and your not given any information, if ye've a good class rep ye should be okay

3rd and 4th year are really really hard in comparison 1st and 2nd year.. so i'd recommend you enjoy yourself in 1st and 2nd!!

No its good craic really as long as your up for making loads of new friends.. the class parties are the best!
    enjoy :)
