Have you ever tried something on (or squeezed into) in a shop and to your horror got stuck and couldn't get the item of clothing off you? What happened, did you need to get cut out of it or pulled off you?

I was trying on a high waisted skirt today which had an unusual belt buckle. When I was trying to take it off, I had a 3 minute panic of not being able to open the belt. Luckily I figured it out.

I have heard of people having to be cut out of tops in shops before.:o

It has happened to me several times but the worst was when I was 18 and was buying my Debs dress. I was trying on this dress with a very elaborate back, all criss crosses and that. Of course being the big oaf that I am I managed to put my head out the wrong hole. Cue much panic as I imagined having to be cut out of the ballgown, pay for it and have no dress to go to the Debs!

I've since learnt that you really can't beat the hands up over your head maneuverer!

Happened to me last week, pulled a muscle in my neck with it! I thought I was going to faint with sheer embarrassment!

Got stuck in jeans before, tried on a pretty skinny pair of jeans couldn't for the life of me get the things off, I got scared and started sweating which only made matters drastically worse. It was kinda like a reverse of that episode of friends only me furiously wriggling around the floor trying to get those dreadful things off.

the panic you feel when you get stuck though is unreal, you're only stuck in clothes like. i've never had to be cut out but have freaked out and had difficulty getting out of clothes before. few tops i think and a dress

Bought a high waisted skirt in Karen Millen without trying it on. Tried it on when I got home and there was a fault with the zipper, so once I put it on I couldn't get the zip back down. After much trying, I couldn't get out of it, so I rang Karen Millen and told them I was going to have to cut myself out of it and would it be ok for me to get a refund. They said ok, so I cut down beside the zipper and off it came. Got a refund no problem.

It's such an awful feeling when you try something on and it fits perfectly but you can't get it off! I'm always terrified I'll rip the clothes. It happened to me the other day and I spent 15 minutes in the dressing room trying to get it off. I bought the top in the end so fun times ahead.

Years ago with a corset style top in Vero Moda! I was in the dressing room forever going bright pink with the bloody thing stuck across my arms and upper back as I tried to take it off over my head. Still vividly remember the panic!

    It's happened to me...

I was trying on a dress and it went on fine but for some reason would not come off! My sister had to cut it with her nail scissors. We folded it, put it back on a shelf and legged it!
