I was about to buy a ticket for Seasick Steve in October til I saw it was in a marquee...in October...what possesses promoters to hold a gig in a tent in the middle of winter?

In addition to this - Tickets are 45 euro excluding booking fee. 45 euro for a guy who just a few months ago played Crawdaddy for less than half that!

Also - he is playing the Royal Albert Hall, cheapest ticket 21 euro, most expensive 31 euro.

How on earth can PoD justify this? I really didn't expect PoD to start ripping punters off, but with the shoddy EP lineup for 240 euro and then this SSS gig - I am shocked.

My Morning Jacket are support though...which does make it a nice line-up. Still €45 is a bit steep!

You folks ever been to a gig in a tent? Twill be hot in there no doubts.

I wouldn't go to that muck though. Most of the 'big' promoters like to gouge the Irish punters...

I went to a marquee gig last year and unless you were up the front it was pretty cold, with the wind whipping in the doors at the back :(

Id love to go but after seeing him 3 times in about a week(glasto x2 and some other local festival thats really good) 45 europes(call it 55) seems a little on the steep side.

I read somewhere its supposed to be heated tho...for all the D4 people whove heard that Seaside(sic!) steve is cool and dont want to get a chill..

It's very expensive. Although.... My Morning Jacket - that's a quality support act right there!

Saw Justice last December in the Phoenix Park marquee and thought it was pretty warm in there. Price is a bit steep though.
