Grew up with a sister who was the most unreasonable bitch of a PMSing cow. Back on topic. I was watching the javelin yesterday and I reckon there are basically two major skills involved. 1. The ability to throw a stick really far. 2. The ability to run very fast and stop as close to but not over a line.

So it got be thinking. I propose a new Olympic event. The 50m pinwheel. It's a 50m race with two lines about a foot apart at the end. You win if you cross the first line before everyone else but step over the second line and you're disqualified.

The name pinwheel comes from the inevitable pinwheeling motion of your arms as you try to stop yourself from falling over the second line.
