So I am planning on changing my Name Via Deed poll (I'm just waiting for a copy of my birth cert) but what happens to my PRSI contributions should I change my name?

Do i need to get a new PPS no. or will it be changed?

Would a phonecall to the Dept. of Social & Family Affairs not be better?

I underwent this process a while back. Once you get the stamped deed poll back from the High Court, go into your local SW office and ask them to change your name on their system. You keep the same PPS number.

Do the same for the tax, passport, driving licence etc.
