    Hi all,

Bought the most gorgeous cream patent leather bag awhile ago and have been using it for work etc. However, i only realised yesterday that the black dye from my suit jackets etc has transferred onto the bag and destroyed it. I am so disappointed because the bag cost me a fair bit and i love it!
Anyone know what might remove the black dye? I've tried neutral shoe polish that was suggested by a girl in a bag shop i was speaking to but it hasnt worked. If i cant remove the dye does anyone know a place that you can get a bag dyed a different colour? I would consider dying it brown if I had no alternative.

    Thanks for any help,

Maybe try somewhere like a cobblers. They are used to dealing with leather.

I would try baking powder and warm water? It got some red dye out of my white bag a while back. worth a shot anyway
