Nothing on either rte or irishrail about it. Where did you hear this?

The 11am Hueston to Cork hit a tree at Monasterevin. Driver in shock, passengers ok, all services halted. Only part of the loco derailed.

On RTÉ -Barry Kenny on now

We're on the 11.10 train to Galway. We've stopped just outside Portarlington - driver said there was a landslide ahead. We didn't pass a derailed train in Monaseravin - unless they have the location incorrect.

I saw this one in the press, fait play to the driver he must have sensed something coming and slowed right down.
