I was trying to vote for the sack photo on the site but the voting buttons were not that clear so I clicked on the 5th dot on the first set of 5 dots :( I was going for great but I voted poor. Feel free to change that vote. Sorry.

That doesn't really matter, it was the votes in the two threads here on boards that counted, not the star ratings on the image hosting site, so no worries :)

    well done everyone!!

    WooHoo!

Fame at last! Although I think I probably benefited from being in the first split poll.

Thanks to everyone who voted for the pic - taken at my kids Sports Day - sack races are great fun ...

I was looking in here to see what previous Photo Challenges have been set, but can't find a list anywhere. I don't want to nominate anything that's been done before.

Any ideas? (And if anyone has a brilliant idea for a challenge, sing out)

    Thanks,

    Hugh

    HDR kittens?

How about a proverb EG "Nil aon tintean mar do thintean fein"

Our overseas contributers could use their own and share then with us.

    Film Tribute?

You pay tribute to your favourite film/scene with a shot, title equals film name?

to expand on the theme of opposites suggested by dazftw maybe "black and white". Just pick a theme soon so everyone can start working on their concept. ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,728 ✭✭✭dazftw

I think black and white is a good one aswell actually.

It came to me in a flash! Seeing that the Positive Ageing Week is coming up, I suggest that the next challenge is your best portrait of a person over 70. (Or thereabouts) Posed as opposed to a randomer in the street.

    Thanks,

    Hugh
