Hello, Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to turn on a TOSHIBA TECRA 8100. I bought one on Ebay and the seller just sent me abuse when I asked 'such a stupid question'. Thanks

there is a little wierd shaped button on the left side... there might be a small sliding (door) just in front of the button...

Correct. Its under a cover on the left side just beside the microphone jack.
