    He's doing both. He wrote and drew all the Sin City comics and has created some new material just for the films, but he was also friendly with Will Eisner, the creator of The Spirit comics.

    I'm inclined to agree. I haven't read much of the original Spirit comic, but from what I've seen of the promotional material, this Shortpacked! strip tells you pretty much all you need to know. (Ok, perhaps you need to see this strip as well for context...)

    Oh i thought it looked good as frank miller does well on his films.
    I loved the Sin city and looking foward to seeing Sin City 2.
    Who's the main character playing The Spirit and the actor.
    As for that trailer is only a teaser and why do you think its a miss?

    The thing is, Frank Miller's style on Sin City was fine because Sin City was created by him. The Spirit, on the other hand, had a completely different sensibility and isn't particularly improved by being treated as a Marv-In-Disguise Sin City story. I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the film itself, but I can see why people would be put off by that trailer - it suggests the film will be all style and no substance, except that the style is going to be the same one that we saw in Sin City so won't be interesting enough to hold people's attention through the film.
