My sisters in-laws from Australia will be in Cork on August 31st and after seeing a game on DVD a few years ago they were hoping to see one in person. Any recommendations?

    Thanks.

I'd say you can be sure that there will be club games that weekend. However I am not aware of the fixtures yet but when I hear I'll let you know.

Try a free online newspaper called Cork Independent. It comes out every thurs. and has a good sports coverage.

edit ..Hope this isnt breaking rules, I dont work for them

can you post pictures of these sisters ? There may be an exhibition match a few lads would be willing to put together. the winners get to keep your sisters in law. fair enough ?

    Mid Cork Junior Hurling final

Donoughmore Vs Dripsey in Coachford @ 630.

    Here's the list of fixtures:

I'd ignore alot of the County Board fixtures as alot are cancelled due to Cork football game, but there are 3 divisional finals on; Duhallow, Muskerry and Avondhu. All on Sunday evening. All should be good tough games:

31/8 - Rathluirc vs Fermoy in Mallow at 6 pm
31/8 - Banteer vs Tullylease in Kanturk at 5 pm
31/8 - Dripsey vs Donoughmore in Coachford at 6:30 pm

I'd recommend travelling to Mallow for Rathluirc vs Fermoy. It would be the best of the games in my opinion plus you'll get to see Mallow's new complex:

I think Blackrock are playing Midleton in the league on Sunday morning too. I'm assuming all the good senior championship games will be Sunday week.
