    she was away with her Bf for a year travelling, and been arguing lately.
    and she was thinking about some guy she used to see, and how she didn't give him a chance, she has his email, and was wondering if she should contact him.

    OP leave your BF and go email that other guy... you obviously dont deserve your current BF and most likely the email guy has moved on...

    What your suggesting is repugnant and if thats how you behave because of a little arguing then I suspect your not ready for a proper relationship anyway...

    Either way you decide to go - be decent enough to let your BF know and leave him...
