i grind my teeth at night and sleeptalk and occasionally (iv been told) snore :o

the sleeptlaking annoys other but the grinds effects me ..
my sis when i'm home (i share) wakes me what feels liek every 5 mins to tell me stop cos its a horrible sound.
i got rubber mouth piece off dentist 3 years ago, it muted the sound but somehow it caused me to have unbearable pain after a few months that i'd be eating and open my jaw certain way and get sharp pain (dont have locked jaw!)
went privately to another dentist, he was great ,very sympathetic (getting paid 130/hour to be i suppose ;)) made me a hard plastic mouth piece/splint,(E350!!) siad it'd start working after month and ease pain after 3/4 months and it worked .. it went away, i didnt notice obv at time but i could eat without needing to cry.. i was to wear it for year and as year came to close cut down nights i wore it.. which i did, and 3 weeks after i saw dentist for last time .. it broke in half , pain had stopped anyway which was pity cos i still wanted to wear it odd time.
that was 9 months ago.. and pain is back on and off this last 6 weeks... grrrrrr!!! soooo annoying!! any ideas apart from having to splash out on 350 again.. my sis suggests hypnosis???

    splints cost hundreds
fixing damaged teeth and/or joints usually costs thousands!
it's very hard to manage with any treatment:(

This remind me of my ex, she used to grind her teeth constantly at night, I can only imagine what damage it is doing.
