    hi

I had enough of being a couch potato and would like to get back to running... I thought I could do it alone, but no, I do need the motivation of a group... The question is: which club to join? I had a look at the Eagles & St Finbarrs websites, and everyone seems lovely enough, but I am a bit worried that all the runners will be super fast (I base my fears on their race results. Some scary stuff - they look like semi-pros! or simply pros ).

Any suggestions? I am not super slow but somewhere in the middle (at
least that was my "position" in a club in my previous life, and this club covered a really wide range of abilities)...

    cheers

All clubs have a wide range of abilities. St Finbarr's and Eagle AC always welcome new members and you can go for a few sessions to see if it's what you want before joining.

You could also check out www.corkathletics.org/clubs as there are many more to choose from.

    Happy running :)
