I really like the first. Would it be possible to see it with less contrast tho?
I can't decide if its too much!

I tried to enhance the bicycle, using B&W and leaving it in colour etc but I couldn't get it to work right for me. It's difficult to get a colour object embedded in B&W in LR. I haven't got photoshop. Have you any suggestions? I was at this for a while yesterday and eventually got sick of trying and left it as above :) Feel free to give it a go yourself.

The second one is actually a real full sized tractor that I spotted when walking past an old stone cottage. The tractor was parked inside in what was probably the kitchen and it was completely overgrown around it.

Yeah I don't think black and white on its own would work very well with the bike one, it would leave it very flat. I'm not sure I'm just imagining it in black and white!!! So don't take my word on that!!! :D

Maybe if you try it with less contrast or maybe a light sepia or an antique look maybe???

Try the GIMP for colour cutouts, its a free alternative to Photoshop for image editing. You should also check out the 30 day free trial of Photoshop to see the differecne between the two.

I really like how the high contrast makes the straight lines of the bike seem almost part of the wall. Especially around where the saddle should be!

love the bike one the pp gives it an old timey feel. love the colours too.

hopefully you went in and got some close ups as well.

THe tractor one there really isn't enough tractor on show (it really needs to be more tractory:D )
you should have brought a slasher with you and cleared it out a bit :)

How did you do the tractor one? Remove the colour from the surrounding area yet leave the colour of the tractor. I love the first one.

The first one is lovely, but far too much contrast in it.
You could burn and dodge here (if you try the Photoshop trial) to make the bike stand out more. If that's that you want of course.

Not too mad on the second one. Kinda hard to see whats going on, there!

I don't really like the 2nd, the first is excellent.

I don't like it because there seems to be red splashes on the rocks on the RHS and a little out of place area on the LHS.

Maybe a layer mask to make sure only the tractor would have been coloured?

I love the colours in the first ... great picture ..
