new phone or a ipod

i have been saving money for a new phone but my zvm is on its last legs and i was wonder should i get a new ipod touch or a new phone??

How about a new phone and a less expensive DAP? or how much were you going to spend on the touch? maybe you could pick up a second hand iphone on ebay?

Good choice...quite pricey but worth it if you can get it cheaper than the RRP...I got mine for about 345 or so, still quite pricey...

I recently got a new phone too...but if it was between me replacing my old phone or a touch I would still have replaced my phone.

I'd go with the ipod touch. I have the 32gb model myself. It's a great piece of kit and I use it every day. Now with the Apps Store open, there are tonnes of free apps that you can download. Get a speaker dock for it, it opens up all sorts of new doors.

if it's not an urgent purchase i'd hold off buying any type of ipod, except for the iphone as that has just been updated.

some of the ipod's in the ipod family get an update every september.
