Sign up for Zune social from Ireland?

    How can I sign up for Zune social and download the software? Everytime I try I get the following message.


    The Zune service is not yet available in your region.

    ....I'm not too bothered about joining the network but I have to get the software up and running

    You can download the Zune Software using Opera browser - for some reason it allows you (must not report country in standard way that IE and Firefox use).

    Then sign up to Zune with a GMail address.

    As for the Zune pass - I was able to sign up with my Credit Card and a made-up US address and it worked fine.

    Oh yeah - you'll also need this : http://forum.darkzune.com/zune-hacks/zune-id-1636-zinternational-full-zune-functionality-international-zune-users.html

    Run it after you have installed the Zune software on your PC (but not while the zune software is running) and it'll remove the region restriction
