Meteor N95 MMS Problem

Right for some reason when someone sends me a picture I can't receive it on my phone, I get that message saying go to mymeteor and check it there but it's not showing up there either.

Now I have the settings on my phone and am using 'Meteor MMS' as my access point. When I send a picture to any other Meteor phone the other person receives it!

Does anyone have a solution to solve this?! Meteor customer care are hopeless and always just trying to pass the buck!

Try sending a blank MMS to yourself. Short of that working, you'll have to persist with 1905.

try a replacement sim, its free in a meteor store. It probably won't solve the problem but it might.

there was a problem ages ago with meteor customers not being able to receive mms because of a problem on meteor's side and your account might never have been fixed. If a replacement sim doesn't do the job, ask them to escalate it to the technical department

I think i had this problem. Nokia symbians have the settings built in to them already, but i think that the meteor mms settings are wrong. They never worked for me. Just download them again off the meteor site.

Since the OP can send MMS, the APN settings would be correct.

I would recommend contacting Meteor customer care, as chrislad suggested, and escalating the issue as it sounds like an internal Meteor issue and not handset or sim related.

I had a similar issue where I couldn't send OR receive MMS messages or go online with the phone.

Having downloaded the settings from the meteor/nokia site about 20 times, changed the phone 3 times (I get bored with phones quickly! :)) and gotten a new sim, I eventually decided to persist with Customer Care

Took me escalating to a manager (it helps when you know how Callcentres work) before we discovered that they had MMS provisioned wrong on my account. Their level 2 tech guys duly changed it and all's been fine since.

Call them back and when you start hearing them reading from the script, demand to speak to a supervisor. If they hang up (happened to me the first time which only made my next call more irate) just call them back - it's free after all! :) - until you get sorted.
