Sad news. :( From rte.ie. Sorry if posted already.
Broadcaster Terry Wogan has confirmed that he does not plan on covering Eurovision events again in the near future.

The veteran television star told the Radio Times: "I was considering giving up before Belgrade, and now I have to say I'm very doubtful about ever wanting to do Eurovision again.

"I've had so much fun, but I think it's time for someone else to take over."

Speaking about the voting patterns in Eurovision, he said: "The only way the UK will ever regain any respectability is if we get a major British star - Robbie Williams, Take That, God knows there are enough of them - to represent us, and then people will have to vote for us."

Listening to him over the last few years, you could tell he was sick of it.

I know Robbie Williams hasn't been doing as well as he used to, but singing in the Eurovision would really be the end, wouldn't it? :D

Sorry to hear this. Terry was the only reason to watch the Eurovision. I do see where he's coming from though.
