    Hi
I am 38 years old and I was diagnosed with suspected Crohns a year ago. 6 months ago I have had an ileostomy (total colectomy) performed, and my Crohns was diagnosed. Since then I made a good recovery as I am off all meds, can eat anything put on lts of weight and I am comfortable with my stoma. After the operation I have developed pain in my fingers, my toes, my knees and my elbows and these joints are very stiff throughout the day. Also when I have shower my skin gets very itchy especially in the legs even when I use water alone. Has any one else experienced such problems like this? and is this normal after an OP and is this normal after general surgery?
    B

    Hi there.

No-one here can diagnose the cause of your sore joints etc. That's not what the forum is for, and it's not safe for anyone. If you're worried you should seek proper medical advice.

    Good luck with it.
