Does anyone know where I can get a new star gearbox for the m4? Or replacement parts for it?

star replacement parts are almost impossible to come by, finding a complete gearbox forexample is impossible, fortunatly other than the gearbox shell all internal parts are standard v2

    what parts do you need>?

well i found most companies wiring is different from model to model so i never class that as 100% compatible, with regard to the trigger assembly i can not recall, in regards to compatibility i was manly thinking about common upgrades and repairs e.g bushings springs pistons gears etc etc

RC, if you take a pic of all the parts you have on a sheet(s) of paper then we can see exactly what you need to buy.

    €15ish-Selector switch m4
    €20ish-Shims,bushings-metal
not sure about that one-Front wiring and switch assembley
anything up from 50-100-New inner barell and hop up parts
    15 each-selector plate and spring

Id say thats a fairly accurate breakdown of what it would cost to get it back up and running, they have a microswitch trigger so that can be a prob if its missing. probably not worth fixing again ya buy all that and pay someone to do it,. shame though since it a nice rifle.,

Ye,well the moral of the story is if you cant do the job yourself, get someone who can.But in my case that doesnt matter now.
