Not only do you live in one of the most boring places in Ireland you are condemned to live there for the longest average age.

    clicky
A new public health survey shows that Roscommon has the country's highest life expectancy for men and women.

Figures from the Institute of Public Health in Ireland show that in Roscommon life expectancy at birth for men is nearly 77 years and just over 82 years for women.

    Mike.

But if you live in sligo Leitrim (and are male) you have the lowest life expectancy in the country!

How can that be..they're like right next to each other.

It's not on any map because it doesn't exist.

The Rossies are a wise and gentle people but Sligo is another story, a horror story. If breaking bottles off people's heads was an Olympic sport, we could send an all-Sligo team to Beijing and they'd return with a body-bag full of medals.

Only because they would steal everyone elses medals...otherwise they'd be busted for illegal substances.
