Not sure if this is the best place for this post, but how and ever.

I've got some nasty scratches on my glasses lenses and was wondering can opticians scrub/clean/de-scratch the surfaces, without having to buy new lenses? Has anyone ever gotten this done?

    Thanks :D

Are the scratches deep? I scratches mine badly two weeks after I got them and I had to buy news lenses!

Only way to find out is go to your opticians and show them.

They're not too badly scrathed, vision just looks a bit cloudy and I keep cleaning them out of habit.

Suppose I'll just have to go annoy Vision Express persons :)

I put acetone(nail varnish remover) on a scratched watch face before and it work amazingly well. They weren't very deep, but significant enough.

I'm not actually recommending you do this, but if you go to Vision express and they say you need new lenses it might be worth a shot??

Please dont hunt me down if it ruins your glasses!!!
