Title says it all, does anyone know if the new Studio 17 laptops are any good? Particularly how much do they weigh?

hmm they are a fair bit heavier than the macbook pro (about a pound or so). not too bad though considering.

has anyone tried one, tested build quality etc?

Very good laptops , they take the best features from the XPS without the problems , dont find them too heavy myself, Got a bluray on mine , looks amazing using HDMI connection , Good Overall!
