spray the stain as soon as it happens with hairspray, that seals it and stops it absorbing into the fabric, and wash it as soon as you can, its happened me a few times but after doing that the stains always come out

Head and Shoulders or Washing up liquid. I kid you not! God I need to spend more time talking about soccer...

    Dettol works also!

I assume you want to remove it from your hair rather than a stain on fabric?

A professional strip in a salon using bleach is the best solution, but if you're dead-set on DIYing it, then shampooing with washing up liquid or Head & Shoulders daily, as someone already said, is the best way. You'll need to use LOADS of conditioner though.

funny you say that it was feria i used a while back and it pretty much turned orange, and it was a light brown dye with caramel highlights, i called the hairdresser and read out the box's ingredients..if you can call them that, but they said that i had to come in as waht ever wsa in that would react to most home kits, and they had to use a special dye that was to be used on wet hair. if your going to go to a hairdressers bring the box. colours cant be removed unless your hair is stripped, just dyed over!

OP, try the fairy liquid or a shampoo like pantene. mix in a bit of baking soda into it too it helps remove product from hair.

you could also always dye over it?
