Budget travel is geared towards people on a budget. If you can stick a package holiday they won't be beaten.
    Sub 400euro easy

not that easy, ive just booked a last minute through budgets website and got turkey one week for two passengers, grand total of a thousand euro!!!! looks fine befroe you go to book it then taxes flight suppliment fuel etc drive it sky high. even if you leave it till the day before theres still very little difference.

www.holidaysonline.ie have some good offers for 30/8/08

1 week Skiathos (Greece) from €349 p.p sharing

    1 week Mykonos from €359 p.p.

    1 week Lanzarote from €380 p.p.

    1 week Bulgaria from €299 p.p.

To be honest, I don't think you will get much cheaper than those prices. Best of luck!!

Great prices *if* you're a couple. They must really hate single people.

I know, my boyfriend went to the booking stage (just to see the price) of a 329€ deal to Lanzarote...It turned out to be 999.99 each. I dunno was that a glitch in the site or what as it's a strange number but yeah, everything is looking really dear. I'm hearing these stories of people getting 180-300€ deals Hopefully we'll get something. We're going in September (the second week) so I presume that would be cheaper
