replacing roof slates and getting a 'hypoxy'?

Myself and a friend are converting a concrete shed into an office as such for us to do project work in.

We had plastic sheeting pinned up to stop the leaks, but that was put up there a good 5 years ago as a 'temp' solution.. So yesterday morning the skip arrived and we started to clear out the shed of all the crap that has grown over the years and above all we took down the plastic sheets we put up.

Our timing is great! Dublin and most of Ireland gets flooded and we notice that the plastic sheets we put up were hiding a couple of serious leaks!

We have identified the slates that are broken and we will get replacement slates for them tomorrow to be fitted tomorrow evening(please god). We were told that we can get a hypoxy (or something) to spray on the roof from the inside and out that will solidify the slates and fill in some of the gaps that might have grown over the years.

Is this true? If we were to get someone in to replace the 5 or so slates that are broken and get this solution sprayed onto the roof, how much would you be looking at costwise?

    Cheers!
