No - not my terrible spin around the park this morning where I couldn't get any rhythm going because of the wind but the Danish documentary about the 1976 Paris - Roubaix with the main contenders Eddie Merckx and Roger de Vlaeminck.

I watched it last night for the first time in a few years and it's just one of the best sporting documentaries ever made. Would encourage anyone who likes road cycling to see it out and see how things used to be. The brutality of the riding once they get onto the rough stuff beggars belief at times too.

There's a beautiful opening sequence with a mechanic setting up a bike and Eddie Merckx's obsession over saddle height is hilarious.

It's available on DVD but I'm sure if you knew where to download things from you might be able to find it on the web. It's also shown on BBC4 occasionally.
