    It is an absolute travesty that gary wilson was not released by surrey to play in the match against Canada as he was on 'county duty'. Imagine my suprise when he turns up at the oval as 12th man for england!

    Yeah that was a bit of a shocker alright. Its one thing actually playing for Surrey, but to be Englands subfielder was a bit of a joke. That said, at one point they showed him on the balcony and the way he was sitting screamed "god I hope noone sees me"!!!

    Lets face it though guys, its a growing trend in Irish cricket that even though they want to stay loyal to their country, their counties have the final say, look at Lionel Messi in Barcelona. Dont get me wrong, I think its shocking that a player could choose a different country over his own, but we must look at the motives behind it.
