Went for a walk late yesterday evening & took along the camera for once, not expecting to see anything. Below is a grab shot of some birds coming in to roost. I did not have a tripod but wanted a slow shutter speed to get a silhouette with some movement. Have been working on it in PS last night & go from liking it to hating it. Maybe I have been looking at it for too long or maybe it is crap.

    I like it.

It conveys the evening mood and movement very well.
Came out pretty well considering you didn't have a tripod.

There has been a lot of work Selectivley Shapening it in PS. The Sky has also been added.

Well I know for one, know how hard it is when messing around with
the sky and trees. In fact I just try to avoid doing it as it drives me
    crazy! :D

Maybe burn the shadows in the sky a little more ?

    Just one thought, 'Hitchcock'!

Maybe a bit of a crop to focus more on the scary flying birds and a bit less tree? Not sure though, the tree does add scale.

    Either way, great opportunistic shot.

I have already cropped. If i went further the birds at the top of the tree are lost.

I like the "Hitchcock" reference! :D
