    Goodie :D

A two-hour Battlestar Galactica prequel is being made to follow the last regular episode of the acclaimed series.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Admiral Adama actor Edward James Olmos will direct the the Sci Fi Channel movie, which will focus on the Cylons' plans to attack Caprica.

So far, Aaron Douglas, Michael Trucco and Dean Stockwell are confirmed to reprise their roles as Cylons Tyrol, Anders and Cavil respectively.

Mark Stern, Sci Fi Channel's executive vice-president of original programming, stated that the film's budget is "very healthy", adding: "I promise you that, not having shot a frame of footage, it will blow you away."

The story focuses on two Cylon agents, leading up to and after the attack on the colonies. I'm just glad its not set after the fourth series. I want a conclusion dammit.

Good news. Wasn't there talk of "up to three" BSG movies? I'd still prefer it if they just aired the damn second half of season 4. Filming is finished and I know post production shouldn't take until next year. I need closure!!
