Does medical card cover wisdom tooth extraction?

Ok i'm in agony with this wisdom tooth and a dentist in dundrum said i would have to pay for it to be removed. i really cant afford it so i'm just wondering is there any dentist which will accept the medical card for the surgery. it is growing to the side and i'm in pain 80% of the day. i hate teeth !:mad: Thanks for any…
