Chest and stomach muscles

    Hi,

I am looking into building my chest and stomach muscles. The reason that I want to concentrate on these muscles is that I believe my leg and arm muscles are pretty decent already.

When I was a child, I had flat feet. To fix this, i did a lot of leg exercises. I have been doing these over the last 20 years so my leg muscles are good, I believe. I am a dairy farmer so I squeeze a lot of milk out of cows every day with the last 15 years. This has built up my arm muscles too. So as you can imagine, my body muscles are not well proportioned.

Can anyone advise as to what exercises would be best for chest and abs. I have an hour to spare early every morning so I am considering purchasing a home gym. Any good ones for less than 1000???

    Thanks

You could just do lots of sit ups and press-ups.They'll do the abs and chest and dont require any equipment. The problem with home gyms is a)they take up a lot of space and b)no matter how small you start off you'll eventually run out of weight and will need to buy more.
Try the old press ups and sit-ups and see how you go.
