    hey guys

my ipod is broken as i previously stated in a seperate post, it is still under warranty with apple so they are offering to pick it up and to fix or replace it for me, there is one small problem 'it is a cracked itouch' that i cracked myself back in christmas time, now i tried to restore settings by pressing down the home and power buttoms but doesn't go back to factory restore which validates the warranty, does anybody know what i have ot do to get it back to factory restore?

    any info greatly helped;)

If it's connected to the usb while you do the reset by holding the two buttons down I think that's the only way to do it. I had to hold both buttons down for about 30 seconds to get mine to restore. I don't think there's any other way to be honest.
    Hope this helps.
