Ok this is just a thread where you list the xbla titles you own and give each of them a rating out of 5

Bankshot Billiards 2---3,a few glitches made it a fair title
Bomberman Live---5,Great party game
Boom Boom Rocket---3,An ok rhythm game
Carcassonne---5,One of the best XBLA games
Commanders:Attack of the Genos---4,One of the first strats on xbl
Geometry Wars---4,Great arcade title
Geometry Wars 2---5,Even better and deeper geo wars game
Hexic HD---2,meh not my type of game
N+---5,great puzzle/platformer
Schizoid---3,i thought it was good but only turned out to be fair
Small Arms---4,great party game kinda like super smash bros
Spyglass Board Games---3,would have been better if it had local multiplayer
Undertow---4,Good enough shooter
UNO---4,casual game but i didnt like the way it was more focused on luck rather than skill

Bomberman (Used to be ok, got boring fairly quick)
Sensible Soccer (Not how I remember it)
Echo (Pile of Crap)
Streets of Rage 2 (Love it)
Golden Axe (Love it but very short)
Sonic (Great)
Sonic 2 (Great)
TMNT (Great)
Undertow (We all got it free, was ok)
Hexic HD (Fun)
Hexic 2 (Fun but Hexic 1 was better)
Carcassone (Crap)
Geo Wars 1 (Good, bit overrated)
UNO (Brilliant)
Soon to Be Braid, absoloutely loved the demo.

Off the top of my head:

1942 (The new version... fun game, but very short - just 5 levels)
Assault Heroes (great game)
Assault Heroes 2 (not loving it as much as the original)
Bomberman (got boring quickly)
Braid (Beautiful beautiful beautiful)
Castlevania SOTN (great platformer... must get back to finish the inverted castle)
Geometry Wars (good, but I agree its overrated)
Geometry Wars 2 (bloody fantastic... one of the best games on the marketplace)
Marble Blast (I spent tens of hours on this one. Very competitive with a friend of mine. My first 200 gamerscore too..)
N+ (good game, but gets very hard)
Switchball (a more sedate marbleblast, not as good)
Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 (like it alot - good challenge)

Best games - Braid, Marble Blast and Geo Wars 2.

I know I have more, I just can't think of them. I'll edit this post tonight when I can see the list in front of me!

I've bought quite a few so I'll just list the top ones:

Prince of Persia - Classic gameplay with updated graphics
Braid - Excellent puzzles that don't rely on random rubbish or guesswork, great graphics and arty plot
Geo Wars 2 - Skip the first one and get this one. Very addictive with a few boardsies on your friends list
N+ - Most frustrating game ever? But in a good way. No really.
Penny Arcade Adventures - If you like rpgs and Penny Arcade.... which I do. Combat took a while to get into, but was extremely enjoyable once I did.
UNO - Excellent hangover game :cool: not too hard on the brains or eyes but enjoyable
Rez HD - Bizarre, but excellent pseudo-shooter/rhythm game
Pacman CE - Appeals for many of the same reasons as Geo Wars
Alien Hominid - Equal measures of frustration and enjoyability
Bomberman Live - No better game if you have a few people around the tv
Lumines - Gotta have some tetrisy type fun in there somewhere. The rhythm aspect really makes it stand out.
Bankshot Billiards - Also great for playing against a mate in front of the tv

There are a lot of rubbish games on xbla, but this lot above make the whole service worthwhile imo

Off the top of my head:

Robotron 2084:5 absolute classic always coming back to it and recently got past wave 10, yay me!
Smash TV: 4 took a while to get into but it's really rather good.
Geometry Wars: 5 Love it despite the fact that it infuriates me more than any other XBLA game. Must get GW2.
Mutant Storm: 1 Geometry Wars except ****. Far too easy, I played it for about 45 mins and turned it off because I was bored.
Tempest: 1 Really poor conversion avoid!
Commando 3: 2 Really disappointed with this. I loved Mercs but this game is nothing like it, playing more like assault heroes. Bosses are rubbish as well and I finished it on my first go.
Prince of Persia: 5 It's a classic, can't fault it at all.
Bomberman: 5 again brilliant, bomberman can't be beat for multiplayer laughs.
Metal Slug 3: 4 good game much prefer 1 and 2 though
N+: 5 Fantastic platformer
Exit: N/A haven't played this enough to rate it so not going to do so unfairly.
Ikaruga: 5 Brilliant game, only problem is everyone on my friends leaderboard is pathetic at it :P
Omega Five: 4 Nice shoot'em up
Undertow: 1 yawn, bored me to tears, lucky I didn't pay for it
Puzzle Quest: 5 Love this game, great hybrid of puzzle game and RPG. Can't wait for the sequel and will be getting the expansion whenever I finish it.
Castlevania SOTN: 5 Seminal action game, if you never played it before please right that wrong.
Rush n'Attack: 4 I actually quite like this game. Nice old school platformer that is really tough but never unfair.
Pac-Man CE:4 great update, really good for a quick blast.
Worms: 4 hasn't aged that well but still great fun in multiplayer
TMNT Arcade: 1 Well this has aged dreadfully, terrible stuff
Space Giraffe: Took a while to get into but it's great once you can see what the hell is going on.
Assault Heroes: 2 Poor mans geometry wars, not worth it.

Hexic HD 4 - Good game
Bankshot Billiards 4 - Good after a night out
Tetris Splash 3 - meh, could be so much better, it's over after 20 mins as you can only go to a certain level
Rootbeer Tapper 5 - Love this, simple button bashing and running around
Marble Blast Ultra 5 - Great game, a lot of long nights on this!
Cloning Clyde 3 - Entertaining, but too easy with little challenge
Happy Tree Friends 1 - love the series but the game is very poor with no challenge. Had it finished in a few hours.
Worms 4 - Little short on weapons but still good fun
Uno 3 - ruined by all the muppets that play it who can't keep it in their pants!
Caracasone 3 - OK, not my type of game
Undertow 3 - ok game

Rez. I really enjoyed it and missed it when it came out a few years back on another console. If you have a big tv or some good surround speakers it's even better.

Geometry Wars is very addictive and good fun too.

Braid seems to be getting a lot of praise as well.

Have quite a few Arcade games so Im only gonna list those a few

SWOS - 5 Love it, exactly how I remembered
Marble Blast - 5
Switchball - 5 not sure which one of these two I prefer, both excellent
Undertow - 3 so so, never really got into it
Bomberman - 4 good fun, but struggle to keep up with it in some games
TMNT - 2 I used to love this and simpsons game when i was younger, hasnt aged well at all
Gripshift - 5 love the mix of racing and puzzle
Assault Heroes 1 & 2 - 4 for both, tho slightly preferred the first one
Mutant Storm reloaded & empires - 4 same as above
Roogoo - 4 strange puzzler, I have to concentrate so hard playing Im oblivious to everything else, same as GH3
Geometry Wars 1 & 2 - 5 but prefer the second one, the leaderboards are a great addition

Have a good few others which I have really gotten into yet - Catan, Eets, Ikaruga, N+... but downloaded Braid last night so cant wait to get stuck in

Great! My brother robbed my xbox since he got a new HD TV but i'm taking it back, the cheeky bastard. I'll have to brush up my scores because I'm definitely not as good as I used to be (which wasn't that great anyway).

Super Puzzle Fighter HD - 4 Great fun in two player, very boring in single player
Ikaruga - 5 Best top down shooter EVER
Soul Caliber - 4 Would give it 5 if it had online 2 player, my favourite fighting game

bomberman - 5 - amazing online fun
ikaruga - 5 - as said above, the best tds around
street fighter 2 - 3 - good old fashioned fun
ultimate mortal kombat 3 - 4 - coz i love mk3
turtles arcade - 2 - good for a playthrough based on nostalgia
worms - 4 - for some reason i havent play it anywhere near enough
geometry wars - 4 - insane fun

I'm too tight to buy points, so I've only got the 3 freebies:

Hexic HD - 4 - Very enjoyable. Took me a while to get into (literally months), and it's probably not everyone's cup of tea.
Carcassonne - 4 - Great for a freebie. I don't think I would've bought it otherwise though. Multiplayer was alright. Music becomes terrible after a while.
Undertow - 1 - Yuck. So boring.


I've been meaning to get N+ and Braid at some stage. I think I'll wait and see what N+ is like on the DS first.

Undertow - 1 cos it's the amount of times i played it and the amount of colours used to make it
