St.Judes is miles away from Rathmines or Ranelagh. There is a Ranelagh GAA team that train in UCD, that would be a good bit closer than St.Judes. Look them up in the Herald Dublin GAA supplement.

Yeah, they are junior club (I think), they seem to be looking for players fairly often as see some posts on bulletin boards at work lately.

send me a PM we would love to have you at St Kevins Killians ! its in kingswood only 15 mins from D6. We train Tuesdays and Thursdays (but you dont have to train 2 nights a week) and play in AFL 10 9 not the higest level but a good group of lads. otherwise I can help you choose a club more suited to you if we're not right.

Our lads (club from home) train with the Ranelagh Gaels club. Good bunch of lads. http://www.ranelaghgaels.ie/ for more details.

Liffy Gaels are probably the closest, about 10-15 minutes walk from the jail. Other clubs in the area are Civil Service, Ballyfermot De La Salle and Good Counsel. All these clubs are 5-10 minutes away by car 10-20 minutes walking.
